Pumpkin Science

Today we had a special visitor from the Science center, Mr. Musselman.  He had a special Halloween treat for us: Pumpkin Science.  We discussed if a pumpkin would sink or float, we learned the anatomy of a pumpkin including vocabulary words such as pulp, fibers and stem, and we discovered the three parts of the fire triangle: heat, fuel and oxygen. Our program ended with Mr. Musselman's famous "Pumpkin Puke." Enjoy our video.

"Party in a Bag"

All children have brought home their "Party in a Bag".  The bag should be returned on Halloween with a special treat to eat during our Halloween party.

We will be having the party in the afternoon so the children should bring their regular snack for the morning.
